Saints Sports+ is all about growing kids through athletics and physical activities.  Play45 is more than fun events, its promoting a healthy active lifestyle.
Coach Brad

Director Coach Brad Belknap has over 28 years experience working with children in athletics.  He is a Certified Tennis Professional through USPTA and was a high ranked junior USTA player.  Brad worked with Ferris State University Tennis & Summer Camps, Julien Krinsky School of Tennis (children’s camp), and the Congressional Country Club with Jr. tennis program.  Coach Brad currently serves as Director of Saints Sports Plus (Private School PE program) and Director of Play45 (Activity/Sport Themed Events).

Coach Kerrie

Co-Director Coach Kerrie – Studied dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. Currently involved in long distant running and loves to stress the importance of stretching, nutrition, and exercise.  Adds a lot of team building activities and exercises to our program.

Coach Maddi – Has a graduate from the University of Dayton where she attained her Bachelors in Exercise Science.  She is a swim instructor, personal trainer, physical education classes and has coached Track and Field.

Coach Cruz – Coaches soccer, teaches Physical Education, bilingual with English and Spanish.  Has his bachelors in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida.

Coach Nick – Teaches physical education, has coached boys and girls hockey and soccer.  Has his bachelors of science in Education form the University of Central Florida.  Has also achieved a degree from Hillsborough Community College in Child Development.

Coach Moe – Has been a football coach for many years before joining our staff as a PE instructor.  He has god-given talent to help the most difficult children reach their potential and become better.

Coach Sarah – Served in the Marine Corps for 12 years and then obtained Bachelors degree in Theology and Ministry with a concentration on children’s ministry.  Currently serves on the KidsPoint Team as a class leader/instructor and as a leader/instructor for VBS.  Also currently serves for the BridgePoint Downtown Campus KidsPoint Coordinator part-time.  Serves at the Pinellas Juvenile Detention Center in Clearwater, meeting with the youth as a youth mentor/coach and Bible study leader.  While serving in the Marine Corps I volunteered to obtain certifications through Marine Corps Community Services in youth soccer and T-ball as a coach. I coached 3 seasons of youth soccer and 1 season of T-ball.


Coach Mary – Ten plus years working with children in the areas of teaching Physical Education, teachers assistant and preschool teaching.  Has a bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida in Sports and Exercise Science with concentration in Human Performance Track.  Her proudest accomplishment is being a mother to her own children.

Coach D (Darryl) – Nine plus years working with children accumulated through church involvement and serving in multiple ministries.  Served as recreation leader for city of North Lauderdale.  Is currently teaching PE in our Ft. Lauderdale area while he finishes his bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University in Exercise and Physical Education.

Substitute Coach Dylan – Works as a PE instructor, has coached boys & girls flag football teams.  Has experience working with children with Down syndrome.  Is a fan of all sports.  She brings out the Best in everyone with her “Life is a Joy” attitude.

Substitute Coach Justin – Former professional football player (NFL, GFL).  Has many years of coaching experience, sports training.  Has a bachelors degree from the University of Phoenix and a Masters from Northcentral University in Sports Management.

Substitute Coach Green – Former professional football player with Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions.  Worked for Football camps affiliated with Calvin Johnson.  Volunteered for many youth organizations from the YMCA and many different high schools.

Coach Joc – Has attained professional football experience with Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions.  Currently works with upcoming athletes with personal physical fitness plans.  Joined Saints Sports Plus to encourage all students to set goals and work hard to achieve them.  Served with Play60 while contracted with Detroit Lions.

Coach Kris – Has served many years as an after school counselor.  Developed, prepared and executed all types of sports and activities.  Responsible for the main supervision of children.  Specialized as a summer camp counselor for 4th and 5th graders.  Has bachelors degree in Psychology and pursuing a masters degree in nutrition.

Coach C (Cherelle) – Director of JP hoops, Key Biscayne recreational basketball league. Implements importance of nutrition into every program. Voted “Best Coach” 3 years in a row. Played basketball for Purdue and named Big Ten’s First Ever Sixth Player of Year Award. Played in WNBA. Current basketball player for the world famous Harlem Globetrotters.

Coach Tim

Coach Tim – Has always been very active in sports. During his High School career in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was a member of a powerhouse Bishop Kelley squad, three-time Oklahoma state champions for soccer. Helped Bishop Kelley to four straight Oklahoma state tournament appearances. After graduating at Bishop Kelley, attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida to play soccer as well as study Marine Science. In his Freshman season, Named to SSC Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll. A four-year letter winner at Eckerd College as well as a graduate with a degree in Marine Science and a minor in Spanish.

Coach Sarah

Coach Sarah – Specializes in all kinds of fitness and exercise.  Has master’s degree in reading education.  Ministry project manager for Harborside Christian Church.  Youth group volunteer.
